Happy New Year!! Best Wishes for 2014!
From Judy, Sonya, Andrea, Cathy, Jackie and Tracy!!
We were happy to ring in the new year together, along with our husbands and children, and a whole bunch of other great people at the Moeller's!!
Thank you to all of you who are following our Bruce Trail Adventure blog and for your encouraging comments!
Thank you to all of you who have helped us in 2013 by driving us around, making lunches/snacks, massaging sore muscles, checking us for ticks, etc. Thanks for supporting our adventure!! And what a great adventure it has been!
We have completed 6 hikes, hiked 70 km, and we are almost finished the Niagara section of the Bruce Trail. We have hiked in all kinds of weather. When we think back to our first hike Sept 2012, we just have to laugh - we were hiking in ponds of water and sliding down hills of mud. Looking back it was probably good that our first hike was a tough one....now nothing seems too difficult because we always have that first hike to compare it to.
December 2013 was a month of snow, ice and cold! And so we now decide that we want to try winter hiking!! :-)
We bought ice traction aids to put on our hiking boots and are preparing to hike on Sunday, February 2nd.
Keep posted for our next blog!
Cheers to 2014!!
